Dr. Asit Khanna, a first generation doctor in a family of engineers and MBAs, joined MBBS at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1992 and went on to complete MD in Medicine, with honours, from the same esteemed university (BHU) in 2000. After his MD he shifted back to his home city i.e. Delhi and underwent training in Cardiology as senior resident at Maulana Azad Medical college and G.B.Pant hospital from 2001 to 2004. He did his superspecialization, i.e. DM in Cardiology, subsequently from the same college from 2004 to 2007.

From  September 2007 - 2011 he was associated with Narinder Mohan hospital and Heart Centre, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad as consultant interventional cardiologist and is the visiting cardiologist to almost all major hospitals in the city. With work experience of 13 years  I have conducted more than 12000 angiographies and 4500 angioplasties and pacemakers.

Having a strong sense of social responsibility, Dr Khanna regularly conducts heart health check up camps, awareness campaigns and free distribution of medicines among the needy. Apart from that, he is a quite sought after speaker for guest lectures and seminars to spread awareness about various heart ailments like Hypertension, Diabetes, cholesterol, angina, heart attack etc in different cities of western UP.
